[Roji catches Helios in front of their community house. He's been sitting outside for a while, mulling things over and enjoying the last sunset before the big event. He smiles weakly up at Helios, giving him a small wave.]

Hello, Mister Helios.

[He looks absolutely petrified too.]

[ Helios stops in his own wanderings about to head out towards the amusement park for one last time. He blinks noting the young man sitting by himself. ]

Hello, Roji. [ He was drafted as well. Helios understands the petrified look, because he had it too, when he first got drafted. He knows it's hard and that it'll be dangerous and most likely people will get hurt. But that was war and yet it was still horrible to see children, some of them students, having to participate. ]

You look like you could use some company. Ah. That is, if you wouldn't mind. [ He manages a small comforting smile, despite his own fears and hesitations towards the whole thing. ]

[That smile does help Roji a bit. It allows him to take a deep breath and try to calm down. At least he's not going to be alone out there. He has to look at it that way.

He shakes his head.]

I don't mind at all!

[ You're hardly ever alone in Luceti. Something Helios has come to understand quite well in over a year of being here. ]

How are you doing?

[magicwarding]

Um... I'm okay.

[... Okay that's not going to work. It's pretty obvious that he's not, so he may as well be honest.]

Well, I'm more scared than anything. I've always been scared of...going out into battle.

[folkloristic]

It can be a very scary experience. There's no reason to hide it. At least...we can be so together. [ Helios just smiles at his own admission. ]

But you won't have to worry, because everyone here protects one another. It's something Luceti and the people who are here do very well.

[magicwarding]

[Those words are very calming to Roji. It's times like these where he's glad to have ended up in a world with an amazing community. The times may be tough, but everyone is there to help one another.

Reassured, he smiles at Helios.]

Thank you, Mister Helios. And I'll be sure to do my part too. I owe quite a lot to you and the others here.

[ Helios returns the smile and shakes his head a little. ]

It's not about owing anyone, Roji. We are all in this together after all. [ As harsh the reality of that statement is. ]

But do be safe and, and if you need anything please don't hesitate to call me, or anyone else, over the journals.

R-Right... [It's harsh, but it's true.

He then nods.] I will, and the same for you. My specialty is support, so if you're ever in a bind or anything...
