Battle can take its toll...

Who: Adell and Charlotte
What:  Adell's return home after the battle.
When: June 18th, night
Where: House 44
Summary:  The battle is over.  Adell has announced the defeat of the Godslayer, Kusanagi.  After getting his wounds bandaged up and treated, Adell limps home in the hope that he can find some respite.

[Charlotte is a lot of things - a lover, a friend, a housekeeper, a kidnap victim, a princess, intuitive, derp, joyful, playful, an aspiring fighter... because of those things, she often has a lot of roles she can and does fulfill. After the chaos earlier today, it was only obvious Adell would become involved and it was only obvious that he would lead everyone to victory. All she could do was watch from a distance and wait for him to come back to the house.

Actually, she had been waiting in his bed like she is now to congratulate him on a stunning victory but the minute he opens the door her heart sinks. It wasn't the triumphant instance she had thought it would be and was frankly hoping for. No... he looks really, really beat up. She frowns, watching hm carefully in the doorway]

But what about before that?

[She's settled in, that is. The interlaced fingers get a squeeze]

Don't know. If Noel comes back like her old self... she's probably going to want to be alone for awhile.

...And I doubt she's going to want to see me right away.

[...He did kill her, after all.]

Mm~ Then I'll have to go see her, right?

[She's just... trying to focus on a positive thing here but to be honest, she does get what Adell means]

[He knows she's just trying to be positive. And her acknowledgement of her doing it tells him she understands exactly what he means.

He smiles a little for her in thanks.]

If she's feeling up to it, I think she'll enjoy that.

[She nods and hums a bit to herself... yeah, that will do. For now though, she cuddles into him a bit more and-]

Mm... it sounds like there's more to figure out too.

[He holds her there as she cuddles in, and he returns the favor a bit more, ignoring the discomfort from his healing wounds. The only part of him that really is troublesome is where Mu stabbed him in the back, but that's very well covered and on the opposite side of her.

Still, he's content to look down to her and into her eyes as he quiets his voice some.]

Hm? How do you mean?

Well, like I don't know he favorite food.

[With a little smile. And a giggle]
