[Normally, he'd be cautious, careful in his meager explorations. Today, however, he woke up wanting to go look around the forest, wanting to go all around town, look around and explore every badly-lit alley, every rough area, every steep rock wall that he would normally claim he was allergic to just to get out of it. Even that abominable training from his war days would be too little right now.
With a light lunch, just pasta and pizza and wine, maybe a little bit of water and some little cookies for dessert, he sets out towards the woods. Time to explore!]

[A normal Romano would have made a point to complain about how they never do these sorts of things or how "You really hate me don't you brother?!". But instead, he's not even thinking about the differences between him, simply glad to be able to spend time with his more little brother.
Who would surely need adult supervision. He ruffles Feli's hair.]
But smiles get more ladies~ ;Ddraw_a_flagJune 17 2011, 04:45:48 UTC
[He shakes his head, and shifts the bag a little in his hand. He's still very obviously excited, the smile on his face so wide it squeezes his eyes mostly shut.]
Nope, I've got it!
[It should be fairly obvious to his brother what's different- he'd normally be happy to hand over any burden however small. His insistence on holding on to the bag should clue him in. The tiny 've's he keeps humming out with each step might be enough to throw anyone off though.]
[The obvious excitement and ability to do things for himself do make Romano's brow raise, but he shrugs it off and chalks it up to being just such a great day.]
[The forest being dark and rather frightening doesn't even bother him today- every dark path might as well be an open and sunlit trail to him, each obstacle no challenge at all. And Veniziano's obviously overjoyed about this.]
You okay, brother?
[He feels like he should ask; after all, he got the benefit of training ages ago that his brother hadn't, or at least he couldn't remember Romano getting. And he does want to make sure that his brother is having fun on sibling time!]
[Well, Romano might not be so upset about the forest being inhospitable and scary and dark and... well yeah. He's not grumpy about it, but he's still a coward. That much hasn't changed at all.
He's a little jumpy.]
I-I'm fine! It's not like there's anything to even worry about right?

Where're you off to, Vene?
[He'd been out of the house longer, simply taking in nature and smiling the entire time.]

I'm off to explore the woods! Maybe do some swimming, climb some trees. And if I see a cave I might explore it.
[Wait, he hasn't gotten to talk to Lovino in a while, really talk. And this seems like a good way to talk to his brother!]
Want to come too, fratello?

[He deliberates this for a sec or two, biting his thumb. Then, once he's made up his mind, he gives brobro a smile. oh god run]
I guess I should, just to keep you out of trouble. It's a nice enough day for a walk.

Yay! Grazie, Lovi!
[Lunch might be a bit more of a stretch now, but he's survived on less, right? He didn't enjoy it but he survived.]

Ve, right! Nothing to worry about! Except maybe bears, or wolves, or something.
[Granted, he doesn't think anything like that lives in these woods, but there's always the possibility, right? Not like he's gone out much to look.]
