[Roji almost doesn't recognize Naoto at first. But after doing a double take, he's certain it's the same person who welcomed him to Luceti a few weeks ago. His shock level definitely isn't as high as someone who's known her for a while, but he's still caught off guard.]

... W-Wow Naoto, you look really nice today! Er, not to say you don't usually...

[Naoto is pretty far off in her own little lala land when Roji breaks her trance. She turns to look at him, giving him a bright smile with a very faint rosy tint on her cheeks.]

Thank you, Roji-kun! You look quite dashing yourself.

[Oh man, she is so cute! Roji can't help but blush a little too.]

Thank you! [Making note of her initial reaction,] Um, I hope I'm not keeping you from anything. It's just nice to see you in person.

[She gives a small giggle. Yes you heard me, she giggled. Not something you hear from a tomboy, serious attitude detective now is it?]

No, no don't worry, I'm not really doing anything at the present. Oh! This is the first time we've met in person, isn't it? [And this isn't even her true self. She holds out a hand] Well, it's nice to finally meet you.

[The giggling does throw him off a little. He doesn't recall Naoto being that bubbly. Still...he does like it. It adds to the cute.

He moves in to shake her hand.]

Likewise! And I'm glad I'm not bothering you. [He then pauses. He's...not really sure what to say next.] Have you been well? It's been a crazy couple weeks...

[She shakes his hand] You could never bother me, Roji-kun!

I've been doing well, though I do admit that things have been out of hand...especially the other night. [That makes her quiet down for a moment but she puts on a smile] How have you been?

[magicwarding]

[Naoto's response actually relieves Roji. He's always worried about being in others' way.] Good to know.

I've been fine. I'm happy that all that war business is over. It was scary!

[And then a head tilt. He's not usually the prying type, but if it's making Naoto go quiet...] Did something happen?

I'm glad to hear that. [Her smile fades, just a little] I was rather worried during the draft. A few of my friends were chosen to be in it...but luckily they're all back safe and sound.

[She goes quiet for another moment] My friend was gravely hurt a few nights ago...but he's recovering now.

Well that's a relief. [Roji wishes he could say the same...but his acquaintance should be back by now...]

[And that's all he needs to know.] That's terrible! I guess even during the downtime things can happen...

Yes...I do hope that your friends have returned, if any were drafted that is.

That seems to happen quite a bit...you can't let your guard down here. You never know when something will happen.

There was just one. He should be back by now...though I haven't seen him yet. [He can only imagine how Helios is feeling right now.]

Y-Yeah... I've been thinking about trying to train again. Though I still haven't found my pen. I'm not sure if my powers would even work on anything here... [Are there ghosts in Luceti? He still wonders this.]

Perhaps he's resting back where he lives? [She gives him a reassuring smile]

Your pen? [A slight head tilt] I'm sure your powers will work here. My persona is able to appear even though I'm not inside of a televsion, so I wouldn't doubt that it would work.

[magicwarding]

[He nods in agreement.] Most likely. I sure can't blame him.

Well, I've only ever used my powers against ghosts. I don't know what the enemies are like here. [The enemies in the war, of course. He can only imagine.]

[And then he pauses to mull over that whole persona statement.] ... Inside a TV?

I haven't seen what the Third Party enemies look like here myself, but I'm sure that any power can be used against them. [At least that's her guess sense everyone can use their powers at will.]

O-Oh, long story...

[magicwarding]

Hmm...I guess I'll just have to wait to find out. [A pause.] But at the same time I wouldn't mind waiting a looong time.

[He blinks.] Maybe another time, then?

[[OOC: By the way, do you mind if I also backtag Naoto's recent entry? Now that Roji's got some reaction out of the log and all.]]
