Ingrid has been pacing within her bubble deep in the clinic for hours, desperate for news of the fuss going on in the operating room, but knowing better than to distract anyone's attention with useless questioning. So she paces, hoping someone will come and tell her why the sudden influx of people, if anyone was hurt in the draft, and (selfishly, but insistently) if any of her equipment is getting messed with mid-sterilization process.

Ingrid nods, taking a slight step away from the wall of the bubble. She shouldn't get involved. It's too dangerous. She's too vulnerable.

It's all true, but it tastes bitter in her mouth even so.

He sees her step away, and his heart aches for her. It's not her fault that she got caught in the middle of this, it's her fault as much as it was Archie's.

"You're not in any danger, if that's what's worrying you.

"Ten and a half..." she repeats in a murmur, nodding, grateful for the attempt at comfort. She's not worried for her own safety, though. She's worried for the people who get involved enough to make it ten and a half instead of one big one.

"Be safe," she says before she can think about it.
