[Hey, I'll do you one better by grabbing your collar before you slide by and stop you from your hideous trip any further-all the while clinging to a branch of his own. God, he hates rain today. He shakes his hair of rain and yanks you up.]

Figures you'd be the shrieking voice.

[Vash takes a moment to cling to life the branch you're clinging to himself before retorting back.]

It came out of no where!

Actually, it came from the sky, but we don't need to argue specifics, do we?

[Cold, bruised, and covered in rain. I'd have to say this isn't the worst thing we've dealt with. Personally? Wolfwood's starting to get tired.]

[He's not the only one who's tired and Vash clings to the branch.] Can we go home now? Like... right now?

I dunno, why don't you ask the hordes of people trying to murder us on top of it all??

You think I should? You know, I don't think they have any more control over sending us back than we do.

[SIGH. He'd reply with something, but he's busy being helpful.]

Looook out for that rock.

[It's coming right at you, spikey.]

[A nice friend would pull you aside so that big ol' rock sliding through the mud doesn't drag you off with it. Wolfwood?

[You would also think a man who can dodge bullets like they were slow moving bubbles would also see the rock and move out of the way, but Vash finds his time is better spent screaming.]

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! [And grabbing onto his not-so-nice friend before the rock hits, because he just looks sturdier than this branch right now.]

[YOU ASSHOLE.

For that you get an elbow right to the mouth, even if it does sweep him off into a tree a little further down the bank in the process.]

If you're gonna klutz around, leave me out of it!!

[OW!] I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Can we get out of the water, now? Like right now? Please?

[UGH, I feel so weighed down. He grabs you by the collar and drags you back toward the tents.]

Out of water works fine for me.

[Gah! Choking! Choking! Don't grab there! After a bit of flailing and yelping, Vash will manage to get to his own feet and follow like a grown man.]

Ooooh man. [He takes his gun out of his holster and inspects it.] I'm not even sure this will fire after getting that wet!

Well, I've got some ways of making fire, but I have a feeling you won't approve of 'em anyway.

Considering it usually goes off in my face? No. Besides, that only attracts those creepy dogs. [Not that he's been using magic like crazy to make his a bigger target when he's found them sneaking up on his friends or anything.]
