Where: All over da place!
Summary: With the event over, people will be waking up in whatever homes they moved into, perhaps next to someone they normally wouldn't.
Rating: I dunno it could get kind of steamy :o

[Some long, long time after waking up and realizing with horror what had taken place the past few days (as well as straightening a couple things out), Alf finds himself outside and without any real destination in mind. He should retire to the apartment he's been staying at for these past few months, where he can lay and really -- really -- think things over.

Right now, however, all he wants is to walk away from the problem. He knows better than to do such a thing, that he should turn back and offer each person an apology, and more. It's precisely for this reason that he stops in the middle of a path near the village's edge. When he turns around to seek said persons out, part of the search is cut short when he spots a familiar figure. One he hadn't seen in a fair while, but one Alf knows he should talk to regardless.

So he calls from the distance, softly, as he walks on over.]

. . . Ginko.

[one_green_eye]

[There's a slight pause, and an internal wince at the sound of any voice-- but he turns, and recognizes the face.

Actually he should be glad you're alright.]

Alf. [said like a sigh] How are you?

[ooc: Notification, why didn't you come to my inbox. B|]

[He offers a wry smile. His default response is to say that he's fine, but given the situation and how Ginko, having gone through the same, would be able to tell that it's a half truth . . . ]

. . . Better than before. Yourself?

Alright. [he isn't dead]

That was a new one, though. It might take people a while to -- catch a breath. [feel stable, or normal, or ... not as lonely]

[The smile fades, replaced by a look of concern.]

Yes, I didn't believe they would go so far with us . . . I only hope no one has been terribly hurt by this.

[Even he vaguely realizes how naive that hope is.]

That might be too much to hope for, in some cases. [a little quietly]

But the damage shouldn't be permanent.

[All he does is make a rather sad face. It's really depressing.]

I should hope that it isn't. No one deserves . . . this.
