[ Sophie is here, absolutely taken in by the cherry blossoms. She's always been very fond of flowers, and this is no exception.

And every once in a while, she'll reach down and try to pick up some of the petals that are falling, and she'll stare at them for a moment (should she try and put them back on the tree? is this supposed to happen? is it okay?), but the rest of her time will be spent staring up at the tree in awe. ]

[Asbel was here with Sophie as well. She looked so excited hearing about this, there was no way he could say no to here.]

[ Her lips form a smile when she hears his comment, and she can't help but agree. ]

Yeah. They're pretty.

[ But she doesn't take her eyes off the tree; she can't help it. ]

[He steps up next to her, and joins her in staring at the tree.]

It's an impressive tree, isn't it?

sob oh god I can't believe I forgot to post for this.....

[Saber approaches the tree quietly, wearing a light jacket and carrying two things in her hand. The first is a box tied together by a string, holding a cake sliced into about twenty slices. The second is a bottle of lemonade, which she mixed herself. It doesn't have a strong amount of sugar in it, but just enough for a sweet taste. If someone approaches to take them she'll let them without a second word.

She sits herself down on the ground and watches everyone quietly. Never been one for socialization in parties where she wasn't made to speak unfortunately. For now she sits on her legs and watches the cherry blossoms curiously.]

[Japan had arrived somewhat early, but then had lost himself to watching the trees. When he sees someone sitting by themselves, however, he gets up from his seat and cautiously approaches, looking at the stranger with some measure of recognition.

As he draws closer, he bows.]

Pardon me for intruding. Are you waiting for someone?

[She's taken out of her thoughts when she hears the voice, but doesn't respond for a few seconds until she realizes he's addressing her.]

No, not really. I'm just enjoying the view.

[He straightens and looks up at the trees, smiling faintly.]

They bloomed well this year. Much like home.

[Then he looks back down at her and bows his head.]

Do you have cherries back in your home, too?

[Japan did the Japanese thing and he brought way too much food - picnic fare like Japanese fried chicken and rice balls (with different things mixed into the rice) and tea and Japanese sweets; and less usual fare like handrolled sushi and tuppers of grilled or raw fish and other things. He also has a few bottles of sake and sake cups to drink from, although those are unopened for now. He's spread everything out on a blanket and is watching the trees as much as he's watching the people who have joined in on the fun this afternoon.

At his side is his dog, Pochi, who is also contemplating the blossoms like a true Japanese dog should.]

[HOLY CRAP. Japan jumps and is suddenly on the other side of the blanket, clutching a hand to his chest when he hears someone's voice so close to him.

Pochi just yips and wags his tail at Rise.]

R-R-R-R-Rise-san! A-ah--- Y-yes, I did.

Well. I guess that's acceptable. B|

That's amazing. [She draws back now with a giggle.] And you're amazing too...though if you don't let go of that blanket, you're gonna spill something.
