[Selphie's wandering past the door when she spots Ayumu with a thoughtful look on his face. She walks over to him with a warm smile.]

Hey there! Didja wanna come inside? There's always room for more.

You're not crashing it all. This party is open to everybody. C'mon in. There's lots of food and games and music and there's lots of people here too.

[This New Feather is pretty curious about his fellow captives anyway... so of course he's taking the time to check out the party. It's most likely the most 'social' thing Mulder has done on a Saturday night in a very long time. He's in casual clothes tonight, finally having dug some up from the store. He heads into the rec centre and begins glancing around.]

Looks like I'm in the right place.

[Selphie worms her way over to Mulder with a cheerful smile.]

You didn't have any trouble finding the place, did you?

It's easier than navigating around the woods, anyway... I didn't have any trouble. It looks like quite a lot of work went into setting this up.

I had a lot of help getting everything ready. That's the great thing about Luceti, there's always somebody willing to lend a hand.

[Safety in numbers. Know who your potential allies are. Gather as much information as possible. And, much as he hates to admit it, Giles is still technically a "New Feather".

So he's here. Observing his fellow captives. Seeing who he might be stuck with for a while. If he sees someone interesting, he'll wander over to say hello and introduce himself. Better to make friends than enemies, especially here.

Occasionally, he baffles at how impossible even this fact finding mission would have been for him five years ago. Faith would be proud.

[Giles is always a welcome sight for Jay. Although Jay isn't sure why he showed up to begin with, now he's glad that he did.]

[He smiles wryly.] Unless I'm missing something, you aren't a New Feather.

And neither are you. [The boy retorts calmly, despite being slightly irritated by the remark.]

I don't recall hearing that long-time residents weren't invited.

[The one problem with everyone in the house being at the party is... there are no good meals at home. And Kain is as inept with the cooking equipment as the rest of their house's menfolk. So he comes in, heading at once toward the food.]

[...he has his 'Welcome to Hell' card on hand, but is planning only to show it if anyone manages to annoy him enough. At least he's compromising.]

[Saleh shows up for the party, not exactly grumpy, but seemingly immune to having fun. He does get curious upon spotting Kain, as he hadn't exactly expected the dragoon to show up.]

Kain? It's good to see you.

[Kain hadn't expected to show up, but, he needed something to eat, and besides has been spending far too much time stuck indoors resting. Time to get out some more. He nods at Saleh, putting "Welcome to Hell" back into his flashcards to choose a less moody one in greeting.]
