Who: Draftees What: Arriving at the dorms When: As of this morning Where: The dorm facilities outside the enclosure Summary: Shenanigans under the sea. Rating: Anything from PG to R, I suppose.
Derek arrives fairly soon after the drafting starts. He has a bag of things from the house slung over his shoulder--weapons and the like that he'd managed to find over the course of the year in Luceti.
He'll glance around the hallway before letting himself into his own room, nodding at other nearby draftees who look in his direction.
Once inside, the first thing he'll do is check for the ammo and the Jeep, placing the sack he brought with him on the bed as he passes it on the way to the vehicle bay. When he sees it, he'll smile faintly and give the familiar vehicle a pat before opening the hood to check the engine.
He'll leave his door open; an invitation to anyone who might want to seek him out.
[After a while exploring the place, himself, Ginko comes to curiously lean against this particular doorway. He remembers you sending information from a battle. But this is a different situation.]

[NO ONE could be happier than Jack Sparrow at seeing the view from the window. The only thing that could make it more better would be if they were bounding along across the top of the waves with the wind in their faces. But the dark and gloomy depths with occasional sightings of fish and other creatures is enough to keep him quiet and occupied for quite a while. Then:]
This dark prospect makes me feel a bit faint. That man in his book was correct--salt water is like wine.

So far, so good. Kinda hoping they let me sleep a bit before we have to go and be heroic on someone else's behalf. [Someone's still recovering from a cold. Best timing ever.]
[If you listen carefully, Adell, there's the sound of what might be someone stomping on the floor and a pause before the door opens. Rise, to say the least, does not look pleased.
...you might want to repeat that though, she was too busy raging in the room earlier. She'll notice that you're looking at the moment, though, and mutters-]
[This is Hermione's first time in a draft and she's looking around to see exactly what this whole operation is all about. This includes wandering the hallways, reading in her room, and asking other people questions. She's curious. As usual.]
[During her wanderings, Hermione will surely encounter Gelda Nebilim. It's been a long time since the Professor has had to participate in battle and it's leaving her rather anxious. She had a bit of a 'reputation' during her Locrian Colonel days.
When she spots her brightest student, though, she'll give the girl a pleasant smile.]

Well. The woman doesn't exactly have words for that particular view. She just stands outside of her door, staring at the room inside in disbelief.
Eventually she'll have to go inside, of course, but that door to the hall will probably be kept open.]

Something wrong, Professor Sage?

N- no, not at all. I'm fine. Perfectly fine. I just wasn't expecting the view, that's all.

Professor. [She smiles.] How have you been? [It's not often she gets the chance to speak with Gelda outside classes.]
