Who: Usagi Tsukino, Winry Rockbell, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric What: Dinner and introductions! When: July 15th Where: Al's apartment Summary: Al's organized dinner for Usagi to 'Meet the family' Rating: G? PG? ( Romantic comedy of the season! )
Unlike Alphonse, Usagi was bubbling with excitement. It was impossible for her not to be. This dinner was an important milestone in Usagi's relationship with Alphonse because she was meeting the people closest to him, the people he cared most about. Of course, it also meant that she was going to have two more friends, and a delicious dinner, which was always a super-plus.
It wasn't until Usagi was about to knock on Alphonse and Company's door that she felt that familiar tingle of nervousness. What if she tripped when she was walking in? What if she spilled her drink at the table? What if she spilled food on her sundress?!
Oh dear God, why did she wear white?!
"Get it together, Buns!" This simply wasn't the time to start feeling nervous! It was now or never! NOW OR NEVER, and never wasn't actually an option!
Taking in a deep breath, Usagi knocked on the door (in the form of a tune, even), and waited.
It was hard for Edward to see why his brother was so nervous, to him it was exciting. If Usagi was going to be part of the family, in anyway, then he wanted to know her and dinner was the perfect way to learn a bit about her.
Edward quiet his inner-musing when he heard the tune being played on the door. He pushed himself off the couch and went to answer the door for their guest. Winry was busy and he didn't trust Al to greet her coherently, so he though it best to do himself.
He answered the door and smile at the girl standing there, "Hey, come on in."
Winry tended to the pot of broth which would soon be stew. Clad in her lightly colored apron she moved around the kitchen like a bird flitting from tree to tree. The girl then turned to the sauce pan, in which she had the meat browning. She turned the cubes of beef and left her little working area.
Al perked up when he heard the door. His stomach made an interesting movement, but he kept himself, together, grinning with excitement. He could spot the blond girl by his brother and walked over, laughing nervously.
