Buffy suggested the training classes. Said a girl named Faith would be good for it, too.

Ah, I see. I think the more that are involved, the more likely things will get underway. And probably the better for it, since some people don't seem to understand the difference between 'learning to fight' and 'learning basic self-defense'.

I'm not sure basic self-defense is going to help much out there though.

Some people don't want to consider themselves as fighters. And the hope would be that better systems would be arranged so no one is in the position where they'd be up against them alone, especially if they were unprepared for it to begin with. It would be better than having nothing.

What about ANI? Can we still trust her? From how she spoke, she was involved in the Malnosso's decision to use us.

I've come to believe she may have been a spokesperson for someone else in the matter. The Malnosso aren't supposed to know about her, after all.

A spokesperson for someone else? How many groups are involved?

Bells, huh? Don't you think that New Feathers might find those bells and take them, without knowing what they're for?

Hahahah. Let's hope we don't have any kleptomaniacs in the village.

Too bad we don't have a way to rig an alarm for people trying to tamper with it. Although if I was to fill it with pouches of skunkfish that would break open if someone tried to remove the bell, that would prevent anyone from making off with it once they tried to take it away.

There was a suggestion box in all of the places I stayed in before. There was even one on a boat!

... A boat?

Yeah! The whole boat was like, a floating city sort of. It even had a blacksmith and a bar!

That was very helpful, thank you. I've been trying to catch up on what's been going on around here.

We try to get a general update out at least once a month, after the new feather cycle calms down.
