K took a moment to look around when he, Claudia and Ed left the cafe. It seemed it was always dark here. No wonder some people seemed to lose their hope in such a gloomy place. Claudia couldn't really say she was looking forward to traversing Traverse Town once more, but she wasn't exactly alone, which more than made up for it. Plus, they were actually doing something, even if it was as small as meeting up with a stranger for information. It was information that could possibly get them off this world and go elsewhere.

However, this didn't seem to be the case when K suggested they split up once again.

"Again?" They just got back together and K wanted to split up already? She normally gave people the benefit of the doubt, but now she really had to wonder what was going on, especially since the reason K gave was rather lucridous in her mind. Did they really look like a band of thieves?

"We can't keep splitting up like this, where are Ed and I going to go?" Claudia questioned, keeping a pointed stare at K.

Ed rolled his eyes when he heard K's thought. It was a valid point, he supposed. He'd be wary if he was approached by a group of unfamiliar people, especially in a place like this. But if he wanted rid of them so badly, he could just say instead of coming up with excuses.

He shrugged and turned to Claudia. "I'm sure there's something we can be doing."

"Look, we're not splitting up permanently. I'm just going to go talk to Zell and see what he's up to, see if it's okay if you guys come along, and...What the hell? Do you guys not trust me or something? We've got connections through the journals. We know where to meet up. I was going to get some help from him in the first place because compared to some people, I can't blow stuff up. I'm a bloody manager for a singing group. I haven't fought in years! I can't believe you guys don't trust me...you think it'd leave you guys here?"

Claudia shook her head at K's rant. How could he be talking about trust when he's the one that was always running off? At least he had informed them after all.

"I don't know if Ed feels the same way, but the way you keep running off on your own is somewhat suspicious," she pointed out, although she didn't want to anger the blond either. He seemed angry enough.

"It's just that, how can you ask us to keep trusting you if you can't even trust us to be around you? I see your point, it just seems like you're always trying to get away from us," Claudia didn't sound hurt when she said this, she was merely telling what she thought was the truth.

"I'm not trying to argue, it's just that you don't even tell us what you're doing, you just go. I do trust you, K, I just don't know if you trust us as well."
