He clenched his teeth together and clutched his sword tightly as one does when in pain and desperate for something to hold onto, fearful that somehow if he let go, things would be worse... Perhaps characteristic of his entire view of life.
"W-" he started and didn't even bother. A thousand deductions slowly flickered through his head as he looked up at the sky. "What just-" as he looked back and saw the expression on Schuldig's face, he froze and mirrored it, crease for crease.

He was behaving - wrongly, uncharacteristically. Whether or not he was afraid and confused, there was no damned reason to let Aya know that, and Schuldig did his best to shake off his thousand misgivings and recover his smirk. It worked, to an extent, but probably even Aya could tell it was forced.
"Kudoh's traveling with the General," he informed Aya; truth be told, it would probably be better to have Yohji and Aya in one place. They'd be easier to keep track of, for one, and they'd probably have better chances of survival - and their minds were far too delicious, awash in their pain, for Schuldig to want anything to happen to either of his pretty little toys.
That, and he didn't think Aya was going to put up with cryptic in light of this new development.

"General?" he was intrigued. Whether by huge coincidence or not, that was entirely related to this job.
After an initial moment of shock, he dismissed it and the fact that Schuldig had finally caved sunk in. He raised an eyebrow questioningly at the telepaths mannerisms, somehow feeling the need to increase his grip on his hilt - if that were possible.
"I see. Th- hmph."
At that he swiftly sheathed Shion and headed towards the far end of the alleyway. This latest development only made him want to reach those he knew more; it was only a shame it didn't look as though that would be possible for quite some time.
