The Wonder of Wonderland [COMPLETE; continued]

Naminé really wished that she had learned to use the Dark Corrider. Riku had learned to do it, and the ability seemed natural to the members of the Organization, but Naminé had always feared it. Her fear only grew when she witnessed it's true destructive nature, when she lost Riku on that fateful day ( Read more... )

Even though Axel could feel his arm starting to numb from Naminé's grip, he paid no mind to it as his own eyes scanned the room in particular. He'd come by the world once or twice years ago, and even now it felt like nothing changed, that everything remained the same since he left.

"It wasn't something you had in mind?" The Nobody looked down at the teen with a small smirk, gently coaxing himself at Naminé to the tiny door and kneeled down to take a closer look. The thing was indeed asleep, much to their dismay, but there was a small opening next to it.

"We can travel elsewhere if you want." His smirk grew into a full scale grin, ready to open up the Dark Corridor again at the girl's signal of approval.

"O-Oh, no, I was just surprised we came here!" Naminé blushed, not wanting to seem ungrateful, for she wasn't! It was actually kind of thoughtful of Axel to bring her to a world that was safe and something she knew, instead of dumping her in the middle of a new world that could have been teeming with Heartless.

Of course, Axel would never do that. Intentionally, at least.

She became aware of just how hard she was gripping Axel's arm and let go, kneeling down next to him to inspect the door. She resisted the urge to poke it. Who knew that the keyhole to this world was this tiny?

"No, I like it here! I was just a little surprised, since I never saw Wonderland before... I always wanted to go here though," Naminé admitted. This was the truth, Wonderland was one of the first worlds she wanted to go to.

However, if they wanted to go exploring...

"We're supposed to get really small to walk around, right?" Naminé asked, taking a look at the two bottles placed on the table.

Axel absent-mindedly glanced behind him to the bottles when Naminé asked her question, standing to his full height and meandered over to the table to have a closer look. The blonde was right; the thought of spending their time in this daft room would have been a waste of darkness. However, as he reached for one the redhead held it out for Naminé to take.

"You go first. You won't be able to protect me if something goes wrong." Plus what bottle to actually take had fleeted from the Nobody's memory, so a little bit of trial and error never did anyone any harm.

Well, that was considerate of Axel. Naminé huffed and took the bottle from the redhead. Luckily, she 'remembered' which bottle was the correct one and grabbed it, taking a small sip. Just in case.

Naminé did choose the correct bottle, but a lot had changed in four years. There was a small puff of smoke and she 'disappeared' from sight...

Actually, Naminé was staring up, very up, way way up, at Axel's much taller form. The entire room had grown five times larger... or she had grown five times smaller. Either way, something else felt different...

Naminé looked down. Instead of her white dress, she was wearing a business suit and a fedora.

"...?! I thought this was only supposed to make you shrink!"
