confessions and collywobbles - Traverse Town 2nd District [ OPEN TO CLOUDIA ]

After her abrupt and brief meeting with the red-coated stranger's more refined, twin brother, Aerith had retreated briefly into the hotel to fetch her coat as she was in dire need of a nice walk. A breath of fresh hair had been nice, but she was quick to find herself in need of another kind of peace and quiet, the kind that wasn't entirely quiet at ( Read more... )

Aerith just smiled as he stuttered, eventually coming back to a response she'd half-expected. Cloud was, well, Cloud. It would still be hard, but...

"Well, it might be your business. There's something I kind of wanted to talk to you about. You, Sephiroth, and Zack, more specifically. Leon too, but it's kind of hard for me." The flower girl smiled, almost a touch nervously, before she turned back to face the fountain. "I know that must be pretty hard to believe, considering I never stop talking and all." Best to be light about it ( ... )

"You don't have to give me an answer now. We can talk to them first," Aerith assured him. "Like I said, I really do need to let them know anyhow." The last thing she herself wanted would be for Zack or the General to be left hanging.

And yet it wasn't something that Aerith wanted to do alone either. She was sure the Council could grant her a bodyguard or something for any dangerous studies she conducted, but it wouldn't be the same as having someone she knew and trusted with all her heart watching her back. Though she'd never admit it, facing all of this so suddenly was maybe a little frightening.

"Did you want to go look for them? I'd guess they're back at the hotel," she suggested after a while.

"Yeah. I think that would be a good idea." That little 'if' clause really depended on what shape they were in when he saw the both of them, Though probably just as fine as when he'd left. If he did decide to go along then he would at least want the opportunity to give a brief farewell before heading to another world--no note saying he was going for a brief walk or anything of that sort. Guess he would just have to see what tipped the scales either way when he got there.

"The Hotel.." Cloud glanced in the direction of the tattered building with a little bit of a sigh. "I guess that would be the place to start, wouldn't it?" It seemed to be the bustling center of activity in the town for some inexplicable reason.

"It seems to be where the majority of the population ends up, doesn't it?" Aerith joked. Though the humor wasn't entirely unfounded; in truth, the hotel was seeing some busier days. She couldn't imagine that it was easy for any of her friends to deal with, especially considering.

The flower girl turned around and offered Cloud a hand, not sure if he would take it or not but willing to try nonetheless. She was feeling a good deal lighter since they'd talked, back to her 'old self' perhaps.

"Let's go, Cloud!"
