And yet it wasn't something that Aerith wanted to do alone either. She was sure the Council could grant her a bodyguard or something for any dangerous studies she conducted, but it wouldn't be the same as having someone she knew and trusted with all her heart watching her back. Though she'd never admit it, facing all of this so suddenly was maybe a little frightening.
"Did you want to go look for them? I'd guess they're back at the hotel," she suggested after a while.

"The Hotel.." Cloud glanced in the direction of the tattered building with a little bit of a sigh. "I guess that would be the place to start, wouldn't it?" It seemed to be the bustling center of activity in the town for some inexplicable reason.

The flower girl turned around and offered Cloud a hand, not sure if he would take it or not but willing to try nonetheless. She was feeling a good deal lighter since they'd talked, back to her 'old self' perhaps.
