Rikku stopped running to turn around to her companion. "Darn." Rikku shrugged at Selphie, "I don't know where the little guy went."

It Rikku a moment to realize that they had run into the Second District, and she began darting her gaze around to be completely aware of her surroundings for fear that those heartless from before would show up again. She was only a little uneasy because she didn't really have a weapon and there wasn't a guarantee that Sora or someone would be able to save their behinds. Of Course Selphie didn't know about her 'battle' with the heartless did she?

"Um..Selph...maybe we should get out of here.."

Selphie looked up at Rikku curiously. What had made her so tense all of a sudden?

Her quick movements and glances started to make Selphie feel nervous.

"Why, what's wrong? Do you see something?"

She started glancing around too, not noticing anything out of the ordinary. Maybe Rikku was worried about that 'heartless' thing everyone kept mentioning.

She felt a lump grow in her throat and inched a little closer toward Rikku. Safety in numbers, right?

Rikku forced a smile to her faced to give her companion a sense of security. She didn’t want Selphie to worry but at the same time she was unsure of what degree of danger they were in, if any. Selphie was absolutely riveted by Rikku's story. She was so animated during the whole thing! Rikku was always interesting to watch. Selphie felt so lucky to have a friend that could keep her entertained.

"Wow, you really had yourself an adventure, huh? I can't wait until my turn!" Selphie giggled at all of Rikku's funny faces.

"Eep!" She squealed playfully when Rikku jabbed at her with her make believe sword, pretending to bat it away with her sketchbook.

Too bad the moogle wasn't there, he'd probably enjoy getting a good laugh out of the two girls. They were making a spectacle of themselves, that was for sure.
