That scenario went downhill faster than he had expected it to. He hadn’t imagine he would get an answer to the previous statement; Seemed like if there was any additional thought into the situation Aerith was the one doing the thinking. Cloud gave the generic brand 'you'd better be kidding' look to match her remark. At least Aerith had "iron will" and her "dictator-like tendencies" because her humor sure was taking a nosedive. "Yeah, right." CookingMessing with his hair and outright insulting him like that by suggesting he could be controlled so easily-truly amazing what these two could get away with in comparison to everyone else. Even so, they both earned a doting glance despite those small jabs at him. It was nice to hear that he played some part in making one of his friends life a little brighter ( ... )

"Oh, I don't know if anything I've been through can top that," Aerith replied, still looking horribly amused by the scenario. But, Cloud looked like he was sick of discussing being a man-servant to hundreds of warrior-women, so she decided to leave Zack's adventure at that.

"You two can keep going. I really haven't been through anything incredibly interesting to be honest. Just Traverse Town, though I bet Leon might have something to say about the past, few years," Aerith laughed, looking from Cloud to Zack in turn. "Who's next?"

Poor Aerith. Zack would have murdered something if he'd been doomed to a life of boredom for all those years. Of course, he was sure the girl had found ways to amuse herself, so he wasn't going to press that matter. He understood that there wasn't much of interest she had to say and merely hoped that his stories would feed her interest.

As for Cloud, well, he doubted that his friend hadn't been through some interesting situations. "Hey, I just went into a lot of detail about all of that. I think it's your turn, bud." He grinned at Cloud, looking rather expectant of whatever the younger one would have to say.

His turn? Couldn’t imagine that he could tell as many colorful stories as Zack probably could, but he’d given them the equivalent to nothing as to what he had been doing in the past. It was about time to give a little bit of detail as what had happened in the last few years. Even though he looked slightly unsure, it would be good to get some of it off of his chest for a change. “I never traveled much.” The usual method of transportation-Gummi ships-didn’t sit well with him physically. Both of them knew that. Even though he could get around through other ways, it was the main reason why Cloud didn’t make a point of frequent world-hopping ( ... )
