Kefka had forgotten just how much time it took to get from Hollow Bastion to Traverse Town. With his warp dirve infuriatingly broken - Kefka had given it several swift kicks to make certain, only managing to hurt his foot in the process - he had been forced to limp thru normal space. But then again, he had stolen the ship in the first place. perhaps some repairs were in order.
And it might have been even a pleasent journey, one in which he might have been able to work on his notes, but alas, he had his new companion.
The girl had a sort of disconcerting silence to her as she continually looked at the world as if seeing it for the first time. Perhaps she was...heavens only knew. Kefka had been unable to determine anything about hthe darkness that surrounded her, and thus knew little more about her than he had when they left Hollow Bastion.
As Kefka spettped thru the World Doors of Traverse Town, he was reminded exactly how much he disliked this place. Oddly enough, the smell of recent snowfall lingered in the air, causing Kefka to furrow his brow in thought.
"I didn't know it could snow here..." he said, speaking to no one in particular.
With determination, he took several quick steps, as if he was expecting Riku to simply step out from the shadows then and there and present him self. This, however, proved to be a mistake, as he rather promptly slipped on a wet stone.
The world in his vision did its curious switch, turning swiftly from cartoonish mayhem to starry, starry night; acoompanied, of course, by the sharp crack of Kefka's head meeting the pavement.
And so Kefka lay, staring at the ever-night sky, a serfect scowl on his face. All at once, his vision blurred as his head swam with dizziness, and he let out his cackle of a laugh.
