Alright, alright. I heard you guys loud and clear. The scribbles went over quite well, the compulsory whining ...understandably, did not. So on that matter, loyal readers, I've decided to subject you to this uh... "art" once again. (There's also more bitching, sorry. Things even out.) Much to my own surprise, I initially managed to sketch every day

Man... I would kill to have the artistic skill you have. these "sketches" look like something that would take me hours (like..2-4?) And you probably threw them together in less than an hour.

Anyways- who's this Isamu character? He looks pretty cool. I'm interested.

I haven't drawn in years.. maybe I should do that again? It's so relaxing, haha.

Aw, thanks John! Actually, I'm incredibly slow but it varies (some of these did take me less than one, others probably well more than ...three. I'm not too good at keeping track of time) :P I only refer to them as sketches in the sense they aren't cleaned up, outlined, or colored.

Isamu is from a PS2 title, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. He's actually not a playable character but rather someone that as the protagonist, you can either align with his philosophy or against it. He's basically a really self-centered but helpless "emo kid" who, rather hypocritically, wants to create a world where every person is isolated. It's a really open-ended game and part of the fun for me was seeing what makes these characters tick. (...and yeah, I play as him in a megaten crossover roleplay here on livejournal)[/dork

No matter what incarnation he takes on, eh? Well, I can't say I'm surprised. I'm glad you liked it.

I know the feeling, I actually don't own Nocturne (ironic as that is). I've been dying to play through it again.

Unfortunately, I currently don't have a computer of my own and so the opportunities to use instant messaging (which I rarely use, anyway) are slim to none. If that changes though, I'll let you know.

No doubt you've been crazy-busy but I hope life is treating you well.
