I don't understand...
I'm in the perfect mood to write right now. My brain is hyped up on coffee and imagination, I have thousands of ideas running through my mind, and I DON'T WANT TO WRITE FOR CLASS. It's even for creative writing! The problem is that I want to write other stuff. Dangit. Oh well, I guess I'll buckle down and do it. *sigh*

Wow, I really never update anymore.
But I do actually write. I think I'll put the silly super-hero story that I'm probably never gonna submit to my creative writing prof on here. I know it needs work. I just HATE revising. SO MUCH.
I also am not a huge fan of the ending. I may also change that. Or I may never look at it again out of contempt. Who knows.

Last night was beautiful. We were sitting around, waiting to start our Bible study, when one of the girls began crying. After a little confusion and with the help of the teacher, we understood that she was crying about her family. Her father is in a dangerous place, and her mother and aunt are poor. Last night I was talking to some students, refugees who have escaped their home country, and one of them showed me a small black book. The cover felt like leather, but there was no writing on it. It was no bigger than 3in X 5in X .5 in. The pages were tissue thin and plain looking, but the print was so small. Our friend told us that it was a Bible ( Read more... ) -

People always say that love makes you do stupid things, but no one really takes it seriously. When I think of that little cliche, I think of self-sacrifice and cute misadventures, but then I look at some of my friends and realize that it's more serious than that. I HATE busy work
Working, working, working. And I refuse to do the busy work that I have ALREADY done AT LEAST TWICE already. Sorry, not gonna fool me.

Since I seem to be on a roll with this, I'll just keep going. I wrote something similar to this in my journal at camp (which is...under my bed at my house? No idea...), but I want to redo it, in hopes that it will be even better the second time around. I should probably be working on homework, but I don't want to.

Hmmm, going back and reading my entries, I've found that some of the writing that I like best is from when I was being whiny about him. The irony, of course, is that I'm much happier single (I broke up with him in November, but never got around to writing about it), but I think my writing has suffered. Such is life, I guess.
