Eclipse Hunter

What I managed to buy of Eclipse Hunter~. I received these in April! They're all second hand because these were only sold in conventions back in 2007-2009 or so. The novels had book covers on them. I haven't taken them off in these photos, so the covers are a little hard to see in the pics.

I can't remember, was PR going to translate eclipse hunter or should I just read it on Odd Squad Novels?

Your best bet for now is to read it on Odd Squad. Since it's already mostly translated there, PR doesn't see a pressing need to pick it up as a project unless we run out of things to translate. I am possibly considering Bai Lian Yue's side story though, since it's a side story that spans both Eclipse Hunter and No Hero.

He had a video game he was playing, the sort where you raise a character. He treated Xiao Ai (the game character) as a girlfriend in Eclipse Hunter.

Woah! Were the Eclipse Hunter volumes with actual pictures on front only sold at the convention? I tried looking for it before but could only buy the one with no picture on front. <3 Ah Ye

Yeah, this version, the version with pictures on the cover, was only sold at the conventions. Self-published! Later on, the series was re-released on the mass market with plain covers.

I think it was because Yu Wo had promised readers that the earlier edition would be exclusive to the conventions. I heard that the plan at the beginning was that EH wouldn't be released on the mass market, but I'm not too sure of the particulars there.

I bought the mass market version first, but I wanted the ones with the illustrated covers more. So, I hunted this version down too~
