Sssssh, cake, pie, all the same to me! In this case it's both Kuchen in German |D We distinguish between Kuchen and Torte, with Torte being the kind of layered cake with cream. So wedding cake is Hochzeitstorte, but both blueberry pie and your average chocolate cake are Kuchen (Blaubeerkuchen und Schoko(laden)kuchen respectively)~

Hehe, I was playing around with work skins on AO3 yesterday to figure out how to black out the spoilerish scene. We replaced the dividers there with cake and pie! \o\ Kuchen, huh~~. /learning something new every day *______*
