I cried! I just read the latest translation on PR and then read this. How is the Pope gonna save Grisia? *rolls around on the floor in anguish*...thank you for all the hard work you do and the lovely stories you write. May you always be blessed by the God of Light. Your fan, Lazula.

*pops up from floor because hit head on table leg and had an epiphany* I don't know if this was the right place to ask and or just write this but...is the Pope actually the original Earth Knight? The theory behind this is: 1.we learn in this story that his youth is a penalty for using resurrection, 2. He makes a comment about his brother who never lost faith, (the only brothers mentioned so far in Female Warrior is Half Leaf aka Leaf Knight and his little brother aka Earth Knight). 3. As an elf, Half Leaf would never change his attitude towards things in life but as human beings we can be corrupted pretty easily. And finally, in volume 1 of LSK, Grisia states when singing the Hymn of Light? that the only other knight that has a sustainable amount of Holy Light is the Earth Knight who is a support type? (Light Shield). Anyway, i guess my point is that its plausible that the original Earth Knight attempted resurrection on Silvie (original S.U.N. knight) and possibly other knights or next generation. Just a thought...Lazula...btw, i ( ... )

Oh~ that scene with Earth. (I might actually write the Sun Knight Platoon's POV of that some day... but Earth's POV would be fun too...)

So the Pope's white hair is a result of his attempt to Resurrect the original Sun Knight. The white hair is only a symbol of his immortality and not the only price? So Grisia paid the same price as the Pope, watching all of his friends die without being able to die himself?

Here I thought from the first chapter that Grisia is the first Sun Knight's reincarnation, but you seem to be going on a different track.

Yup, yup, you summed it up pretty well! The focus isn't reincarnation, but rather immortality. (I'm glad it seems to make sense to people!)
