Oh man, I had such a good laugh over
this series of "scientific" analyses of Shin Tenipuri. If you know any Japanese, I highly recommend this. XD; These videos analyze things like how Tezuka zone works, how fast you'd have to move to hit 8 balls at once, what Atobe's eyes must be like for him to use Atobe Kingdom, how much Tanishi needs to exercise

Did you recognize the second piece of music they used in the Atobe video? I know I've heard it somewhere - I think it must be from a video game.

Anyways, Thank you for giving me hope about Kill No More. I've been reading Japtem's translation of this series and have found it "meh" so far, a messy mish-mash of genres. Liola/Liaula seems way overpowered compared to the rest of the chars. I prefer Kaiser who is greedy and lazy, but will whip out the big guns, literally, if pushed. Sound familiar? ;)

I restarted Kill No More twice before I got past volume 2. The first two volumes were really, really... random. Things come together later on, though it might take some suspension of disbelief for the coincidences. I really like Liola. He grows a lot personality-wise throughout the series, but not much strength-wise since he does start the series already powerful. He pretty much did all of his training before the series has even begun, so he never really needs to spend any time on training during the series. However, he still lands himself in a ton of near death situations. It's quite impressive...
There always seems to be a character who is very big or tight on money, or is somewhat more whimsical or lazy in Yu Wo's works. LSK has Grisia, Kill No More has Kaiser, GOD has Shooting Star, 1/2 Prince has... Yu Lian (for the money part, at least)... Oh, I actually can't think of anyone for No Hero and Gong Hua. Heh, perhaps they break the mold.

No Hero/Eclipse Hunter has Ezart. I think he was fighting for cash in some chapter. I guess all struggling writers have sympathy for the cash poor. And dreams about the super rich. ;)
Seems like a lot of random groups have picked up Yu Wo, so an english-only reader like me can read more. Happy-happy.
