So the deadline for parallelsfic has passed, and I managed to write something in time, but the fic still needs a lot more work, so I'm taking the chance to continue editing the heck out of it before reveals. I better get this fic into better shape! There are a few people who don't have stories yet who are in need of pinch hitters. You can see the pinch hits Read more... )

Wow - it sounds like you have a lot of stuff going on in the fanfiction world! Good luck with everything!! *hugs*

About the "writing with pen" thing... I totally get you there. I enjoy writing that way (even though it takes longer) because I enjoy the crossing things out/using arrows thing, but still seeing underneath the strikethroughs how my ideas developed. And I can write virtually anywhere. Then when it comes time to type it on the computer, I start adding in more details and I feel more creative. *rambling... ignore me*

Yay! Yagyuu/Niou day! *celebrates*

I'm just glad the deadline for parallelsfic has gotten me to write something. I can't seem to write without a deadline nowadays. >__> Self-imposed deadlines haven't been working very well, because I always end up prioritizing other things instead.

I don't make much sense on paper (my initial scribblings are always terrible) but being able to cross out things and draw arrows is definitely a plus. I have scribbles everywhere, and my writing is terribly messy and unorganized when I do it on paper. Do you usually write on paper first and then transfer to the computer? :3 I'm curious how you plotted your FE!Tenipuri fic. It's quite an epic undertaking. <3 (I still need to catch up!)

Hehe, your icon is really pretty. ^___^

Deadlines are indeed handy. I've never imposed a deadline on my writing, but maybe that would help me... Summer is odd. The lack of stuff to do means I don't have to prioritize much, but it also means I get distracted when I find something new to Photoshop XD ( ... )

I get bursts of inspiration when I don't have time to write, and then when I do... no inspiration at all. ^^;; I guess I then get distracted by other things. Easier things. XD ( ... )

Mm, I need to see if I can refresh my memory of two-three of the canons listed in that pinch-hit list~♥

Aw, I'm sad we won't be seeing your work this round~♥

Oh, yay. :)

I want to participate in blind_go again, but I have this feeling that I'll just end up with another WIP that will sit around in my folders, never to see the light of day. I feel bad that I've been signing up and not turning anything in for the past few rounds. Or actually, since round 3, and it's now round 12. :'D But I'll see if anything changes before the sign-up deadline rolls around~ :) I'm glad to see another round happening. <3

I just dug up my dvd of *beep* so I'm gonna enjoy writing this. ^_^

Aw. If you think about it, more than half of the stuff I posted in BG are incomplete, and still incomplete up to know. I'd probably, er, finish them before the remix round happens. ^^;

Lucky person! :D

Haha, I mused some more to see if I had any HnG plotbunnies biting, and one did bite. Not sure how feasible it'd be, but it might be fun to write. I'll prod at it to see if it grows. XD;

I preordered Steelhands and got the book in the mail today and it's so excitiiiiiing. Except I totally forgot about the release date so I have a crapload of library books to read before I can get to it. /sobs

Ooh, I also forgot it was almost springkink time. I'll have to check out the prompt list when it goes up.

I want to read it like, right now. Except I still haven't ordered it yet. I need to put something else in my shopping cart for free shipping, hm. I can't wait to read it though. Hopefully I'll have it by next week. XD; I remember I read Dragonsoul within a day after I managed to get my hands on it. *____*

I've never participated in springkink before. I'm pretty excited to have caught it during the prompt gathering time. :3

Ahaha the second it showed up for preorder on Amazon I was like "MUM, NEXT TIME YOU BUY SOMETHING PUT THIS IN THE CART TOO FOR THE FREE SHIPPING." xD Even if you get a copy by next week, you'll probably still finish it before me, bah. Unless I say "screw it" to all my library books. hm.

I've done it only once, I think, cause I always end up being too busy, but there's normally a nice amount of good prompts. Hopefully you'll find something interesting!

I finally ordered mine. XD; I wish I had the insight to order it when my family needed other stuff because no one needed anything this time. But oh well, got to use my amazon gift cards. :3 *waits for the book to come*

I can't wait to see what kind of prompts there'll be. :D

I sort of finished my parallelsfic really early, but then didn't look at it again until...the 31st. A couple of hours before the deadline. :X Lots of editing needed to be done and it's still a bit patchy. Eek.

I've now joined springkink (because, eeeee, prompts!) and hopefully this won't be a complete fail for me like it was when I was trying to find something to write for Five Acts. XD;;; (*is trying to be more proactive and less lurker...y*)

That's good that you sort of finished early. XD; I bet I still had a blank page by then. XD; (Editing? Wasn't even at that stage!) I half wanted to scrap what I wrote and start over, but I'm so bad at tossing away words. T____T;

:D! Hehehe, weeeell, I do think I tossed in a few prompts that you might be interested in, and maybe other people will have too. ^___^ I'm hoping I'll discover some prompts to write too. :D

You accomplished more with Five Acts than I did. >___> I started a fic, but er, it's still not finished yet (and what month is it now? XD;; )

*grins* I think I know which some of the prompts are yours (...o_____o This sentence is so bad), and which ones definitely aren't yours.

alkdsj Yeah, the first one I participated in, but not the second. XDD Oh yeah, I still have that fic I was writing for the first Five Acts as well... Hmmm.
