Hm, this turned out weird. I think I spent all my creative juices on my switching_it_up fic today. :'D Maybe I should've just focused on Souji. The last fic for this little collection will probably be very late since I need to finish my Tenipuri fic first.

Wow. I never would've thought these two characters would've been tied together but it makes so much sense. In the end, those two kids were connected by one thing -- lies. And it's horribly sad that that's how they live through their happiness.

I wonder if they'd ever get told the truth. The fact that Souji wants to be a pilot is probably the most heartbreaking but beautiful part of this, and Futaba getting a letter from someone pretending to be her brother is the most horribly cruel. I love it.

This was so simple but great, I love that the "lie" part of "Believe" is capitalized.

I thought this was pretty strange. I was also going to throw Nagi in the mix, but then I think he knows something's up. I would hate to be in the parents' shoes here!

First time I read this theme, I didn't even notice the capitalized letters! Then I went, OH. But too bad I wasn't able to make it anything profound. XD;

Yeah, I don't think Nagi would really fit with the theme, I'm glad you just kept it to Futaba and Souji. :)

Ahhh, snap! XD Well, it's good that it was in there since it matched so well? :D?

DD: Aaaah, mean person for doing that!

But I also suppose that Futaba believes that Daichi'll come back because that's what Daichi had been doing for the whole time that their dad had been away. So it makes sense. :(

And awwww, at that last line.

Daichi did want them to believe that he just disappeared...but I wonder if he'd have made the same decision if his dad hadn't disappeared before him.
