In Japan!

Aug 10, 2009 18:56

I'll be away for this week and the next. I've been in Japan for three days already~. Everyday when I come back to my temporary apartment, I collapse from the pain in my legs. I haven't done this much walking ever. I think I'm finally getting the hang of the train systems. They're really quite something. Very convenient (but so much walking!) ( Read more... )

Comiket was crazy. I don't think I ever want to go through it again!

I walked so much in Japan. I think it's a healthier lifestyle, using the train to go everywhere. :3

It's not an experience I want to repeat anytime soon! The lines were very orderly, but there was just way too many people all jammed into the same room and halls.

I asked my friends to pick up the nendoroid when they went to the company booths since I never made my way over there. I don't know when I'll have time since classes are starting, but I'll get it to you one day?

I was in the middle of replying to these today when I fell asleep. XD; I'm back! I only managed to buy the Sengoku/Minami book and a Satoumizu newest one...but it wasn't the one you had listed (the compilation). Do you still want that one? This was all on the first day. I didn't get to Comiket until later on the second day, so all the Hetalia stuff was already sold out. ^^;;

Welcome back! I am eagerly awaiting a picspam post~

Yes, to both books! Thank you so much for this ♥ One day I hope to go to Comiket, too, but until then I'll live vicariously through you lol. How much for the two?

I totally did not jot down the prices. 0___0;; But um, most of the doujinshi were around the same price. I don't remember those two being more expensive. Does $5 for each one sound all right for you? I'll calculate the postage tomorrow once I find something to put it in. I have a very accurate scale. :3

Haha, you don't want to go through the Comiket crowd. XD; Of course, after getting in, it was fairly all right (and pretty neat to see a bunch of Tenipuri cosplayers buying doujishi in the Tenipuri section. a lot of cosplayers roamed the stands they were cosplaying from). Some doujinka also gave out cute freebies. :)

"We have to throw the trash in three different piles (combustibles, non-combustibles, bottles)."
... Yeah. I would get confused too. .___.;;

"There was an earthquake this morning, but I slept right through it."
XD Heavy sleeper? Or just a small one?

:) Have fun~!

The trash separation got a little easier later on. I find it weird that paper is thrown into combustibles...why isn't it recycled?

I'm quite a heavy sleeper. :3

Ahaha, my calves aren't that toned, but I can walk a lot more now! My arms though...that last day with all our luggage really killed my arms. I guess I haven't been training those muscles enough. XD;

I saw you a lot! :)

We have to throw the trash in three different piles (combustibles, non-combustibles, bottles). It gets a little confusing!

...I didn't even know there were countries where you don't do that XD (but then, I never really thought about trash much...but when I was a child I thought it was confusing too!)

I'm so jealous that you get to be in Japan for two weeks! Have fun! Earthquakes can be scary o.o I've heard that around 60 people were injured during the last one, it's good to hear that nothing happened to you!

Oh, so you do that over where you live too! It feels like a confusing system to me, but it makes a lot of sense to separate the trash like that. I feel there needs to be a forth section for recycling paper though instead of burning it all.

Japan was very fun. Actually, I should say just Tokyo, since I never went out of the area. ^^;; It's too bad I didn't get to make my JR pass worth it by traveling far.
