Sarin in Syria

Those with really long memories may recall some my earlier posts where I discussed how Saddam's modus operandi is to deny the win to his opponent so he can emerge bloodied but unbowed. That's why he gave his jet planes to Iran and gave his WMD chemical stores to Syria.

Which appears to now be using them. The sarin at least.

The sarin which ceased to exist when the cognescenti declared that "Bush lied" and reality had to be reset so that Saddam never had it?

Why yes, that's it!

To be more honest, sarin is not supposed to be all that hard to make. But Syria was not supposed to have more than laboratory quantities.

Then they tried to use 20 tons of generalzed WMD in an attack on the government seat of Jordan and got caught at it.

And now here they are, using more than 'laboratory quantities.'

And why look!

The rebels are trying to take a chemical weapons plant.
