time to switch providers. my cable service here in town tried that crap on me, i told them i would take my business elsewhere. they tried begging me to stay, dropping their price of monthly service from $40 to $10, and i told them it wasn't going to cut it if the speeds and service were still going to be crap. i moved to local dsl and it is better (though yours might not be).

let me put it to you this way: your connection speed as posted in that screen capture is slower than i get over my cellphone. your ping time is not only awful, its unacceptable.
