First of all I would definately suggest Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West If you like a book with a flair for a fairy tale gone wrong, a moral dillema, and plenty of wit, this is your book.

If you like Irish-ish bands try The Connells. They're ok, something different. One of my ex's from Boston turned me onto them. I guess they used to play a lot of the college bars up there when he was in school about a decade ago up there.
