Erm, yes - I have. The house has a name (title really, so maybe that doesn't count), all the soft toys, my one (male) doll (like you I was never a doll girl), the computer. I frequently befriend inanimate objects, but rarely name them for some reason.

And I need to get some clothes washed, and finish the chocolate cake I should've glazed yesterday.

Mmmm, chocolate caaaakkkkeeeee...

I forgot to mention the Steiff teddy named Æðelstan, after one of the early English kings. He's very cuddly for a Steiff.

Ah - he's Adalstein in Norwegian. One of our early kings was his foster son, Håkon den Gode Adalsteinsfostre (Hákon Aðalsteinsfóstri). So when his fosterson-became-king was nicknamed 'the good' (which is what 'den gode' means), I find it moset fitting that he named a teddy bear. *nods*

All of our bikes have names--and some have personalities. My mountain bike is 'Titus' and The Boy's is 'Rocky'. They're both male and they spar a lot trying to show off for each other, lol. Lots of dumb tricks and bravado between them: "Hey Rocky, did you use the breaks on that downhill?" *smirk*

Then there's the more refined roadbikes, 'Louis the Lightspeed' and 'Miss Bianca' the Bianchi. Well, you get the picture. ; )

We also own an small asian elephant statue named Hernando. That name doesn't match an asian elephant at all, but oh well.

I'm sure there' s more if I think about it!

I suppose it goes without saying that my snowy owl figurine is Hewig, my howling wolf is Moony, as is the toy wolf my two gave me for my birthday 2 years ago, and my cuddly reindeer is Prongs. I'm still looking for a Padfoot.

Hee! Good ones!

My laptop was 'His Lordship' for a while, until we got used to each other. He had the distressin' tendency of exhibitin' his feelings by droppin' letters, rather as a certain Lord Peter Wimsey does under similar circs, as they say. It was me not striking the keys properly, of course. It still happens when I'm typing fast in an attempt to keep up with the brain, but not recently. ;)
