Am I on a roll, or just bored?

 So, moving along with my accelerated crash-course in iconing and coloring, I tried coloring in a panel of the Higurashi Tsumihoroboshi-hen manga. I got bored/frustrated with the background, so I just gave up on that. What do you guys think? D:

Please, do feel free to give me as much criticism as you want! Oyabun's ass knows that I pretty much just threw up on this thing and called it a coloring. XD;;

Just a few things, really. The guy's skin color is kind of yellow compared to the girl's, for example. And I wouldn't have colored the girl's hairline straight across.

Overall, a very good early attempt at coloring. ^-^ (So much better than mine.) I can't wait to see more of your work!

Hmm, I was wondering about Keiichi's skin tone myself... I copied directly from a color image from the same manga volume, and there was that sort of difference, though that was probably a result of the shading in that image. I always hate working with skin; I'll pay more attention to it in the future. XD;;
With Rena's hairline, I thought of trying to not color it straight across, but then I realized I didn't know how to do that convincingly! Any suggestions? XD
