Most people didn't have breakfast in the late afternoon, but then most people weren't the Archdemon of Sloth. Belial was still feeling a little lethargic as he made his way to the restaurant, via the lobby.
At the sound of the door opening, he turned to take in the newcomer. He frowned; the man's face looked vaguely familiar. No, not man. God. Memories surfaced; he'd fought side by side with this god. A smile began to break across his face.
"It's been a while, Anubis," he called, walking briskly towards the door.
Rose looked up from the reception desk when the door opened. A strange smell of dog hit her nostrils and she inhaled cautiously. The man standing there didn't seem to have a dog with him.
Before she could greet the new guest, Belial already walked towards him, greeting him. Seemed he knew the newcomer. Hopefully that man wouldn't frighten Raphael as well.
Anubis was about to make his way towards the reception desk and the young woman behind it when a familiar scent reached him nose. It may have been a few centuries but he recognized it easily.
"Hello Belial," he greeted with a grin, "how have you been?"
