Duncan grinned and lifted his much lighter katana to shoulder height, almost as if he was going to stab at Methos.

"Prepare to die, old man!" he growled as he advanced and sent his first strike against the older immortal's neck.

Methos brought up his sword to catch Duncan's, reversed the motion immediately and brought the blade clashing down onto the younger Immortal's sword-hand, all the while keeping an eye on McLeod's other body parts as much as possible.

Duncan moved back, avoiding the swing rather than blocking it, and came and Methos again with a wide swing from the side.

Methos swatted at Duncan's Katana as if chasing off a particularly obnoxious fly.

"You've got to do better than that, McLeod!" he called outas he danced aside and raised his sword for a blow from above.
