Date: April 14, 2003 Status: Private (Dream, Gabriel) Setting: The Dreaming Summary: Gabriel is led by Matthew to the Dreaming, where he talks with the Lord of Dreams.
Daniel sat on the throne dressed in finely patterned white robes, concentrating on the broken sections of the dreaming far from his castle. He stood as Gabriel bowed and walekd over to him.
"Thank you for coming, Gabriel. I hope I didn't interrupt anything but I wanted to let you know what was happening here in the dreaming. Lets walk while we talk..."
"No inconvenience caused, Daniel," Gabriel assured him. "I've been worried about the Dreaming as well, and I do have some questions. They can wait, though."
"The dreaming will survive. But I can tell things are getting more serious in Lower Tadfield. I don't think it will be long before I am forced to take more extreme measures to protect the dreaming. Things will make more sense when we get to the heart of the problem."
The scenery around them seemed hard to focus on properly. In any moment the surroundings were easy to make out but with each step the surroundings seemed to be different somehow. It was impossible to ever catch them changing and although part of you knew they had changed another part knew that things had always been like this.
"Perhaps while we walk you can ask some of your questions."
Gabriel studied their surroundings - or rather, tried to. Everything seemed to be shifting somehow, though he couldn't catch them changing, and it almost made his eyes ache.
"Are shared dreams possible? And what causes them? What are they like?"
