Oh God, I don't actually see Jack doing it, even if Gwen did have the balls to ask him. Not least because, as you say, Ianto would murder them both and make it look like an accident. It just amused me, that's all: not least imagining Ianto's reaction to Gwen asking.

I'm still trying to iron out the details of a crack-tastic sequel where she actually does ask, but there's two options so far: one where Ianto kills her, the other he kills Jack just for considering doing it.
