When I saw that episode over the weekend, my brain screamed "FANFIC" at me. Torchwood and the Warehouses are so similar that they had to cross paths at some point or another, and I loved the idea of Ianto looking up to his secret agent ancestor.

Oh yeah, they definitely would have done! A fic for another time, perhaps.

LMAO!!! Love it; got more? Especially if Ianto gets to hear more about his ancestor. I find it interesting that Tosh knows more about Jack's background than Gwen does... :D

Tosh is awesome - she knows everything. I'm tempted to do some more crossover stories, but in my continued efforts to get up to date with Warehouse 13, I've discovered something distressing about David Walcott (whose first name I guessed correctly! Go me).

Ok, what'd you find out about him? No teasing; and I'd love to see more Tosh and the boys with Warehouse 13!

I won't tell, since I'm really tempted to write something about it. Actually, I wish I'd seen that episode before I wrote this, because I would have added it in.

There was a rumour (god, a couple of years ago now), that Warehouse 12 would be a spin-off, with H.G. and Wolcott, but nothing ever happened. Stupid studio shutdowns got in the way, I think.

I would love to hear this extra backstory you have of the Wolcott character; I enjoyed this immensely, and now I want more. Please?!

I wasn't writing anything more. I honestly wasn't. And yet, somehow, I have 2.5k words written of Wolcott's back-story.

Warehouse 12 would be awesome - HG is one of the best characters on TV, and we all know that GDL would bring awesomeness to the party too. But I can't see it happening now that W13 is finishing :(

That said, the teasers for next week's episode do seem to be about W12, so perhaps they're using it as a pilot?

(I am also decidedly *not* writing anything about Steve's evil twin sister. Damn, but he was fabulous.)

I have to admit, I've only seen a few episodes of Warehouse 13. I'm limited in my viewing, as I live overseas, and have only AFN as my provider. I haven't caught a show in years, and I didn't know it had been cancelled. Damn these networks for taking off all the good stuff. I don't know who Steve is/was, either *pouts*. I feel quite left out. *pouts more*

But if the finale shows more from Warehouse 12, maybe there will be a spin-off, and there will be some delicious GDL onscreen once more. That would be lovely...

Sorry, I forget that not everyone is up to date with the US (I'm actually in the UK, but I get certain shows just after they air).

Steve is wonderful - if/when you manage to catch up, you've got a lot to look forward to.

I can't remember what prompted me to catch up, but I was gutted when I got to Season 5 and they started talking about the countdown to the end, and the series finale. Which is next week :(. I hadn't realised it had been cancelled either.
