I must consult stefan on this one... so i'll do it here... is it a breach of smoking etiquite to not offer a friend's new friend a chance to smoke with the group? I don't know everytime I've been in this situation before whether i was smoking the opportunity was presented... sigh i just feel left out tonight... band practice fell through, and no ( Read more... )

It is considered bad form to disobey any of the following rules (guide-lines): 1.) Always Pass to the Left 2.) Offer to Share even to those who look disinterested.

Smoking with people like me... well we tend to bend the rules, BUT we always make sure everybody is sufficiently stoned before cessation of the session; we are a bit more egalitarian. Friends will drop by and roll a few blunts with an understanding that in the future you will reciprocate. It is a carefully tuned system, tuned in the key of Jah.

For example, last night Matt & I had 1 joint left, we considered smoking it and not sharing with Jon (Who was driving in front of us), instead we flagged him down and took a detour so that we ALL could get baked. Even though there was a distance between us it was the sweet sweet herb that called us together.
