ApolloCon and the Plot Bunny

Jun 23, 2007 22:53

Too tired to read or write much tonight - had a great time today at ApolloCon!

Heard some great filk music, talked to a dealer who has a passion for Transformers (and made some purchases, of course!), and played a Serenity Valley RPG.
The bunny is really very cute and cuddly. )

rl, con, browncoats, bumblebee

Richocet was originally called "Stepper" and he is indeed a repaint of Jazz. Back in the day he was only released in Japan, in limited quantities, so getting your hands on an original Stepper carries a pretty steep price. If you can find one at all.

So glad HasTak reissued him, though, because the Jazz Shrine would not be complete without a couple of Reverse Jazzez. ;D

Also, squee! Bunny! Buggy! SQUEE!! XD *ded of cute*

If you're interested, the vendor doesn't have a website yet. His name is Billy Byer, his chosen name is Saimaidar, email Saimaidar@Verizon.net. I enjoyed talking to him yesterday and hope to see him get established - he works as night-manager at a pharmacy to support this habit.

Plot bunny! HOMG, that is so cute!

Be careful you don't wind up with about 20 of them by the time you leave...they breed.

Name? Hmmm...I'll have to think.

Do help, please. I've come up with 'Morningrush' (based on Oasis' theory on Seeker names - but bunnies do not fly) and 'Marjoram' (based on the naming convention of the Watership Down rabbits). Of course, I'd prefer a more ground-based-Cybertronian-sounding selection... 'Cottontail' is right out! Inspiration sounds like a ship's name...an exploration and science vessel, no less. 'Fluster' sounds like an anti-plot bunny, or maybe a Decepticon multi-changer that doesn't have a lot of firepower but is a tricky little bugger. And a prankster, no doubt!

He's P. B. for now.

Good one, but nah. Wouldn't want him to get full o' himself, thinkin' he's the folk hero o' rabbits ever'where.
