Sunstreaker wanted to play, too...

...but the object of his fascination would give me away, so the Sunny in my head-space didn't get an entry in the Mile High Club at M_E. Somebody made it up to him though, and how: he got to have jet-judo and overload all in the same skirmish. Can't beat that!

Especially when, in my universe, all he can do right now is dream...

D'aww. I'm sorry, Sunny you DO have it bad. :) And Sunny liking to fly? So much love.

And the rumors, so close and yet so far from the truth. They would so freak if the truth came out.

Ayup. Nothing like a freakin' legend being cooked up in the data-vacuum for my poor baby boy bot to live up to, huh?

So, any potential Sunstreaker/Starrunner will have to overcome that. No one but Cobweb's seen it, but Starrunner has her (or, more accurately, Comettracker's) temper... oh, he will react so badly if someone accuses him of lying, when he had nothing to do with the rumors in the first place. He is in stasis as they are brewing, lucky to still be sparked! Oooh... plot bunnies, in the hutch with you!

*feeds the bunnies*

That would be an epic story there, Star finding out about the legend, Sunstreaker finding out about the truth and the whole Autobots having a bit of a cognitive dissonance with 'Con badge, but he defected, and saved two Autobots, and why was there much hush-hush stuff going on.

*ponders on Star's temper and Sunny's temper, and starts looking for a blast shelter*

Also Mirage would be an EXCELLENT roommate for Star.

*accepts food for voracious bunnies* Thank you, yes. That blast shelter is a goo-ood idea. Room enough in there for two?

*headdesk* You always do this to me. Just as I'm getting ready for bed, you provide shiny. And I have to read it before I crash. I love your chapter/story titles, too, just so you know. They are utterly appropriate.

Now I need to go back and read the first chapter of Faction now to see if Sunny really did spend that much time on Star, or if it's just his dream.

And the rumor mill came out of nowhere O>o(because we've been mainly getting the officer's viewpoints, and they may not be as exposed to it as most).

Is it just me, or was Bluestreak maybe not accepting Sunny as equally as it appeared in Love Shared? (which makes me feel even worse for Sunny than I did in Love Shared)

I look forward to seeing how this pans out.

*happy dance in chair* Glad you liked! And *hugs* thank you for saying you like my titling habits. Makes me happy!

Past, Present and Fantasy all jumbled up, yes indeed. *nods sagely*

Rumor mill: officers who don't have the whole story don't share anything. Period. So, the rest of the crew just has to make do until the official story gets put out (if it ever does). Jazz ain't talkin'. Prowl doesn't speak to anyone very often anyway outside of business. Ironhide and Ratchet mostly probably chew the fat with each other. And Optimus has so much more to worry about than prisoner-turned-ally-combatant-turned-Ratchet's-pet-project... who else knows anything in the Ark? Red Alert? Wheeljack... now there's a thought. But how much did Prowl even tell him? And how might an engineer be misunderstood by anyone else? Yeah.

And Bluestreak is accepting of Sunny just fine, but he is primarily Sideswipe's SO... and it was Sunstreaker who got uppity and turned away. Who knows what Bluestreak might have said or done if he were allowed ( ... )

That was really wonderful. I liked how you cut back and forth from Sunny's dream to Blue and Sides. That worked really well.

Very nice. I really like this thread of the tapestry that you're weaving. It's a very epic story, and while I don't envy you keeping track of all the different story lines, I most certainly eagerly read them. Great job on this one.

You're welcome. I feel like the lucky one - you're such a great writer it's a pleasure to read your stuff and give you *strokes* and *pats* and *purr* at you.

Sunstreaker dreams about beating mechs up?! I thought he was a bit more refined than that!
And then it all turns to romance.....
Good luck Sunny!

Sunstreaker and "refined" are not close company in my 'verse. Or, at least, he prefers the simpler pleasures. Maybe if they weren't at war and had the comforts of home, he would fix on more genteel pass-times, but that is not where he is.

And I personally think he'll need all the luck he can get!

dang - poor Sunny! And Star!

Do you have a "series" name yet? I'm loving it, but want to toss em all into a series tag for future reading & sharing ;)

And *pets* Blue - good support there.

I'll recommend lumping the three featuring Sunstreaker (this, Focus and Love Shared) under the heading Focus of the Sun.

Glad you like them so much to reread and share! And thank you for the friend-add while I'm at it.

Blue is really very sweet, isn't he?
