Vincent had never been a shopping sort of man. If anything, he generally avoided it simply for the how very public it always had to be. It helped that he didn't normally have to, more than capable of tending to himself with what little he had of his own.
Today he'd gone out not really looking to buy anything, but rather to get a better reading on how well things were recovering in this section of the city. Keeping himself occupied, really. Gaia only knew how much he could use the distraction right now, and the more people were around, the less likely Chaos was to try to convince him to cause a stir.
He saw the woman perusing the racks and brushing her fingers over all the flowing fabrics, and for a moment his mind murmured Aerith--but only for a moment.
Vincent had seen her before, anyway. Only on video, perhaps, but seen her all the same.
Ifalna.
He stood there a moment, debating whether it would be best for him to just leave. This could become...very awkward. Very quickly.
Ifalna hummed to herself, blissfully aware of quite a bit of the tumult these days. But... she couldn't ignore an intense gaze coming her way. She peeked around a rack at the dark and mysteriously windy figure with a curious smile.
Oh, wait! She knew that face... um... that was... She walked over to him, gears still turning, the crowd unconsciously parting around her. Aerith, Veld, Aerith, Veld, what had they said?
"Vincent! ... Right?" She pushed back auburn ringlets to grin up at him with eyes identical to her daughter's. "It's nice to see you."
To say that Aerith wasn't in a panic was a bit of an understatement. While even she herself was getting used to the world she'd been seperated from for a few years, it was a frightening thought to think that Ifalna was out wandering the streets unaccompanied. It wasn't that Aerith didn't think her mother could handle herself, but the sheer desire to want to ensure she was safe. That and, well, if Ifalna was out shopping Aerith wanted to go to!
Weaving through crowds and carts, having to fight off the occasional urge to stop and give a dress or fresh fruit a second look-over, auburn hair floated behind her with each step until she caught sight of a similar mop of hair, a fluid movement that was etheral, and a particular individial with a red - Vincent?
Working herself through the crowd, Aerith joined up to the duo now trio, placing a hand on Ifalna's arm. "I thought I'd never find you in this crowd," she said to Ifalna before turning to Vincent, "What a nice surprise to see you, Vincent. Its been a while."
Reunion ahoy? platinum_fistSeptember 25 2010, 00:56:17 UTC
Tifa had been out to buy some things for Marlene and herself in the market when she caught sight of two people she knew and one she guessed was Ifalna. The video had been grainy and old, but she looked too much like Aerith to be anyone else.
She changed directions, stepping up behind Aerith for a moment before offering the small group a smile before she shifted her bag to the other arm. "Seems like we had similar ideas about what to do today."
