That happened to my parents' Disco last year, with me in it. Its scary and jarring as fuck, but not that serious. It just means the hydraulic suspension is gone and you need to take it to a garage. Its a bitch, but its not particularly serious, in all honesty, and its easily fixed by a competant mechanic. *cuddles*

And tbh he's better get shot of them altogether and getting spings and shocks fitted. Cheaper and Beter for offroading.

If one of the bags has gone, what are the others like?
