High above street level, but not quite as high as The Flit, are various shabby shacks in Spite. It is one of these that L.S. Cassius procured as their Lodgings. It went cheap at 500 rats, but of course the seller had not mentioned that it was infested with rats anyway. When Cassius first came to London they managed to get board with a Widow, but soon they discovered that privacy and independence was greatly needed.
Their Rooftop Shack isn't much, and can be described as 'cozy' on a good day, but it has served them for over a year and looks that it will serve them for the rest of their stay in The 'Neath.
a Rooftop Shack: draughty and unstable. Good thing there's not much wind in the Neath. But the views are magnificent!

OOC: I am making this an open post of Cassius' Lodgings. For it anyone wants to visit, drop something off, or the like. Just make a comment with whatever day it is in the Subject (so I can keep track) and we can go from there. I made a kinda crappy floorplan of the layout, but I'm not too happy with some of the substitutions I had to make. It is far better that my
original sketch though! Their mailbox is an old breadbox by their door. Also there is an around 1/2m cubbyhole type area over the bed/pantry which is kinda
visible here, and there is a little ladder to help reach it propped beside the dresser. The pantry & bed area have sliding doors to maximise space. I think I may have made it a bit too big, but I was basing it off our kitchen in size for the whole thing. I could go into the ash privy by the shack below, and I forgot to include the stairs leading to the shack above, but oh well. Cassius' typically uses a nearby bar's halting station though. They also usually bring water in. But yes! Here it is:
Now please be respectful and whut-whut! I should also mention that Cassius has 2 rats for room-mates, & a pet bat.
