Tonight is the concert for all of the Wilkinsburg bands, starting with the very first Wilkinsburg Elementary Band concert in about 10 years or so. Two of the three songs we're playing are my arrangement. All of three, my friend. Mi, re, do in solfege or any number of combinations on the piano- E, D, C; B, A, G; F, E-flat, D-flat; etc.

I await with baited breath. What I don't know Grout and Baker's will.

Three? That's sad, but I also remember struggling with those three. My rendition of HCB (on the recorder in music class) always sounded vaguely funereal.
