I'm not going to work today. They've shut off the electricity to the CBD and there is flooding in the lower parts of the city

OMG, that's insane! And so horrible! I'm glad that you're not going to work. It would be a good idea not to go to work until the flood passes. Or at least until you're sure that it's safe to travel. I hope to talk to you soon. Be safe!
