Confrontation

Mar 17, 2013 18:27

The following email archive was found on an encrypted thumb drive attached to the collar of a very suspicious and possibly cybernetic pygmy marmoset in my backyard. After much research and several top secret meetings, it came to light that the other half of the conversation was in the hands of porn_this_way, who found it dangling from a weather balloon near ( Read more... )

Oooh. I really like this. The intersection was neat, but I think the characterization of TT really takes the cake here. For maximum effect, porn_this_way's should be read first, I think.

I'm really glad you liked it! We were hoping that each piece would stand alone well on its own, and compliment the other (of course), but we hadn't actually given any thought at all as to which order they should be read in. ~facepalm~

Hahahahaha! To the whole idea, AND to the execution!

All those other degrees were interesting (and I think that dentistry will prove especially useful)
Oh god. Both for the "perpetual student fail" and also for how sadly useful dentistry IS in villainy. o_O

Your latest rant has all the finesse and subtlety of a killer whale in a public swimming pool.
God, I loved this line. In so many tiny details of WIN. \o/

I really like how energetic and optimistic (and goody-goody) Tyro is, in his pursuit of graduating villainy school. But the fact that he drove Dr. Tool nuts and created a job opening, in a secret and stunning display of villainous competence, was even better!

I could not love this more. :D :D

~grins~ I'm so glad you liked it! If there was ever an idea that demanded this treatment by the two of us, it's this one.

"... also for how sadly useful dentistry IS in villainy."
I totally had Little Shop of Horrors in my head when I was writing that bit. ~sings~ "You'll be a deeeeentist".

This was very creative. Also, I love the Latin on the poster, and of course I had to go to Google translate: "This will not end well." A fun entry, thanks!

*grins* It's all the little details that make a school a success. Like Latin mottos and working email addresses. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I probably shouldn't admit this to anyone ever, but sometimes when I can't sleep I wind up on 4chan's /x/ board. (I don't go to any of the other boards -- oh, Christ, no. Just the "paranormal" one.) Every once in a while, there's actually a decent thread or creepypasta or something. However, it's usually the most inane "paranormal" crap you can imagine. Like, about a quarter of it is "how do i summon succubus>>>???", another quarter is "guisz, is this paranormal???" and the rest of it is just raids from the other boards. (/b/, typically, but /x/ is more or less the butt of the entire 4chan joke.)

Anyway, there are threads just like the thing you guys wrote. I know you meant them as a joke, but holy crap. I thought I was back on /x/, and I was pretty sure I was going to have to derail the whole thing into a Spiderman Thread.

I have never haunted 4chan (though I'm pretty sure porn_this_way may have been known to frequent that den of iniquity from time to time). I'm kind of baffled by the fact that there are threads like our little monster over there - I mean, are people just going to extreme lengths for a few cheap laughs (like we were) or ... um... what?

Well, it's 4chan.

I went there last night after finishing all my LJI reading because I hadn't been there in a few weeks. Lo and behold, there was a "black magic school" thread. Like, somebody was intent on starting the worst online version of Hogwarts ever. You had to pay like $150 to start classes or something.

Yeah, /x/. Keep that torch lit!

I may or may not have hung out on /b/ (the random board that 4chan is famous\infamous for) but I've never been to /x/ in my life! I don't know whether to be amused or disturbed that we managed to inadvertently tap into that particular hive mind.
