So... I've used a couple of programs that say I have registry errors. Anyone know a good/reliable and preferably free program I can use to a) confirm this and b) fix any erros I do have?

Not a permanent fix, but I like Windows LiveOnecare. It has a free 45 day trial, and works for anti-virus, as well as helps the performance of your PC.
