Leaving for Boston in t-minus 7 hours or so...I should head to bed soon, but I am *overfuckingjoyed* to be hurtling toward the East Coast in a pressurized metal tube to stay for an entire week. I had to share my complete elation with y'all before I go ( Read more... )

The Public Library Association's annual conference is in Boston this year...I'm here already now, and having an AWESOME time. We watched the Celtics get their asses kicked by the Lakers last night, but it was a close game, so no shame in it. ;) Today and tomorrow are free days for me (no pre-conferences), so I'm planning to explore Boston today and then take the bus into NYC early tomorrow morning to hang out with my friends there. I'll come back Thursday afternoon to attend the conference for the next three days after that. ROCK! I'm having a blast.

No, I didn't know that old Starch was from Cambridge...tell him I'll be thinking about him as I stroll the streets of his old stomping grounds. :D

Gotta go...Boston awaits!

I fucking LOVE Boston...its my second favorite city, next to the NOLA..
nice public transit system too....

Oh yessir...I have, I am, and I will! This place is great. About to go walking around now, and later I will be headed out to explore the dark nightlife underbelly...muahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. ;)
