Either the jaffa cakes I treated myself to earlier have greatly increased my tolerance, or That Mitchell and Webb Look was considerably funnier this week than it has been any other. I actually laughed, out loud, more than once.

I randomly caught that last night and the sketch with the gameshow and the weird other beings thing completely creeped me out, though in a good way like Reeves and Mortimer used to...

It's a payoff for a recurring sketch that has been going way, way, WAY too long.

On the one hand I was sort of, "oh. they're zombies". And on the other I was "YAY, ZOMBIES!"

I think between LoM and Dr Who, seeing the test card girl in a gas mask and things written on her board plunged me into "what the fuck???" mode instantly. Especially as I'd just had the tv on mute to write something down (I fail at multitasking) and that was the first thing when I was paying attention to it again O_O

Though now I curious about the build up to it...

Basically, it's the same sketch over and over, with small hints given out about The Event and how horrific it was.
